Chef Celeste was born and raised outside of Chicago in Oak Park, IL. She learned about the joys of scratch cooking and growing fresh produce from her parents on their many trips to the South to visit the family farm. She moved up the ranks as a lead line cook, pastry chef and sous chef among many influential mentors in Chicago’s best kitchens and Michelin bib-gourmand restaurants.
After the pandemic, her focus shifted away from fine dining and back towards the generosity and nourishment of family style cooking, working as a private Chef for families in and around Chicago. Chef Celeste relocated back to the DC area this spring and spends her time outside of the kitchen producing mixed media art.
